Nearly Famous

So, last night our little family went to an Arizona Diamondback's game courtesy of my husband's new job. Our tickets were amazing--23 rows back from directly behind homeplate. You could see the ball and the players and just about anything you wanted to see.

Free tickets; two sandwiches with drinks $26; parking my car $10; parking Derek's car $5 (he met me there from work); the whole experience $priceless!

Although Derek and I didn't get chosen to be on the Kiss Cam (it's where the camera in the stands pan around looking for couples to display on the giant screen and if you're chosen, you are supposed to kiss--cute idea), we did get onto the big screen. That's right, our little family had our picture broadcast throughout the whole stadium. How cool is that? My 10 seconds in the spotlight. Good thing I did my hair and wore make-up yesterday!

So fun!

We did that a couple weeks ago, but not major league, minor. After being to DBacks world series games, this was quite boring to watch. Good times, can't beat free game and free food!

How fun, being on the big screen! There is something about going to a baseball game that just feels wholesome, everytime we go I wonder why we don't go more.

Looks like you guys had a great time! I love the ballgames! Still kinda sad that we don't get to go as often as we use to when Chris worked for the Schneiders. I still have pictures of when we all went together...I need to get those to you!

I LOVE YOUR NEW BLOG PAGE! I have decided that orange is a beautiful and desirable color...pretty much jealous that you found it first...where did you get it?

I also love your blogs, you know that...especially the one about "they." I can relate 100%...trying to remodel a house can not only put you into debt, but can really get you mixed up on what you need vs want.

i will post pics asap with my remodel..and send me some of your favs so I can love them too!

Love your new blog look. Very cool.

I'm always jealous of the people that get on the kiss cams at games...mainly I want to because Joel would probably die right then and there from embarrassment. :) Cool that you guys were still featured!

Hi Audrey-
I stumbled across your blog off of a link from crazy mama. I recognized you and your family. You just moved into our ward- I haven't officially met you but I remember seeing you introduce yourselves. Anyway- I am sure I will be getting to know you better.
Love the DB games- we just went a few weeks ago.

Now that you're famous does that mean you're going to get a body guard, shave your head and get some new tats? BTW, I recommend a big heart with an arrow through it. So your blog is sooo cute I love the colors...judging by your other admirer's comments this is a new look for you...great the fame is already going to your head! HA! Let's get together soon. I think the girls would have a blast!

Okay, I was going to post a ridiculously long comment, but I actually don't have too much to say right now. I'll get you later.........Anyway, I'm so glad we read the same books because I'm always looking for different ones to read. I'm actually in 2 book clubs (wierd) and we are reading flags of our fathers later this year. I'm glad to hear it's good. Tell Derek I said hi, and Sabina too when you talk to her. I guess now I've gone on long enough so we are completely even! ha, ha
