New Weight Loss Plan!!

I lost two pounds yesterday. No joke--two whole pounds--aka 5,000 calories!!!!
How did I do it?
Well, I got a crazy raging case of strep throat that the doctor said showed up in about half a nanosecond after they ran the test. Then, seeing the incredible pain that I was in, the doctor prescribed me this nifty, little pill called Vicodin also known as: the weight loss solution!
So, I discovered that if you take one of these Vicodin, at first you feel awesome--seriously no pain at all. You might even run around cleaning your house because you have cooking group scheduled there the next day. However, after about 10 minutes, everything will start to spin a little bit and your head will feel a bit like it's filled with helium. Shortly after that you will vomit every little thing you've consumed---perhaps ever.
Don't take my word for it though, get your own case of incredibly terrible strep throat and enjoy your own magical weight loss experience.

I can't say that I had the same reaction to this wonder drug. My experience has left lasting cosequences though. I got a shot of it in my tail end and the nurse must have hit a nerve because it is still sore and painful. It's been 10 months!!
It's sounds like you're havig a killer time. How did cooking group turn out?:)

You are so funny! Sorry you've been feeling lousy. Breck's had strep 3 times this season and it has not been fun. Hang in there.

Oooooh...my weight loss was courtesy of the flu, and I lost FIVE pounds in about 30 hours...but gained it all back the next day when my body accepted hydration again. Who-da thunk?

As for Vicodin, OH MY GOSH!!! I'm not the only one!!! I'm sorry you share my sensitivity, but...I'm glad I'm not the only one with whacko sensitivities!

Oh yeah, and...glad you're feeling better. :)

:( Boo...that's no fun. And I can say that Vicodin is probably one of the only pain meds I haven't tried yet, but reading your experience I don't think I'll ever want to. I'd likely have the same reaction.

Hopefully you'll continue to feel better :)

I'm so sorry about the strep! That is not fun! Hope you are feeling better. Bryce, Dallin and I had it a few weeks ago and then as if that wasn't enough we got the flu this last week. I don't know if I lost weight from it or not, but I guess that can be one positive side of being sick!

Oh, me too, me too!!! I'm so jealous. It sound a bit like my morning sickness diet plan. That one totally broke me of my night time snacking habit in addition to my daytime snacking habit, and my breakfast lunch and dinner habit. It was great!
