My Remodel

So, that bathroom that I started in July? I finally finished it this week! I had finished most of it before Thanksgiving, but I had to wait for my hubby to do the new light fixture--which ended up being a huge headache of course (and you don't even see it in the picture)--I don't think that God has remodeling in my future. I think I'm supposed to be working more on remodeling myself and leave my house alone.

Now, for the great reveal! (Imagine me running through a picture of the old bathroom.)

For those who like my color choice--and you know you all do--it's Benjamin Moore's Soft Fern and Rosemary Sprig. And even funnier, the toilet even looks whiter--as though it's been made over too!

And, this is the beautiful cross-stitch that my dad made for me for my birthday last year. I just got it framed and it looks absolutely gorgeous in our bathroom.

Wow, what a great bathroom! I love that cross-stitch! I think you just helped rekindle my love for it (last time I did one was back in high school in the Philippines, so I'm a little rusty...)

The pictures don't do it justice, I really think it turned out great, if I don't say so myself. So what other projects can I talk you into starting and then bail out of before it is done?? You really did a good job, and now, don't be afraid to start other projects, this really was harder than most projects are.

Looks great! I love the colors. THey are warm and earthy and will probably go with lots of things. Congratulate Derek for me. Men need LOTS of encouragement if they are ever to do something again. We miss you and are watching your video lots.

Ew, yikes! That wallpaper looked at least as evil as the wallpaper I had to rip down... but the end result is gorgeous! I do love the soothing shade of green. Good job.

Audrey,
you are right! I have so many great friends-especially ones who invite me over to play games!!
I did not realize that when we got to see your bathroom that it had literally JUST been finished! If I'd known the story behind it, and also seen the before, I would've made a much bigger deal over it!! Sorry I didn't catch on to that. It is very lovely, and your dad's cross stitch is amazing!! MOre so because it was your DAD who did it!! Actually it is amazing no matter who had done it!!
